Amenities unlike any other property on the Washington Coast await you at Vacations by the Sea. In addition to all the special touches in the individual condominiums, Vacations by the Sea has a fantastic community center that provides the extra touches to make your stay relaxing and fun.
While staying with us, you have total access to the seasonal heated swimming pool (open Memorial Day through Labor Day) and large outdoor hot tub. Located next to the clubhouse is a fantastic grassy play field perfect for those pickup games of soccer, volleyball, and football. The basketball court is great for either a quick game or horse with the kids or a full 5 on 5 challenge. The six hole putting green is a great place to hone your putting skills and teach the little ones the basics. Also located on property is a horseshoe pit for your use.
Don't worry about packing all your gear, you can check out sports equipment such as basketballs, volleyballs, putters and golf balls at the front desk inside the clubhouse.
If you're done at the beach for the day but the kids still need to work off some energy, bring them down to the fenced play set area. The Westport by the Sea maintenance staff keep it nice and clean for the little ones to play or dig in the sand. There are also benches for you to sit and enjoy the sun while the kids play.
Feel free to cook up lunch or dinner on one of the outdoor gas BBQ grills. There are two large grills located outside the pool area, and one on each of the rooftop decks for those guests staying in buildings 9, 10, and 12. Just stop in at the front desk or call us to reserve your time as they get lots of use on busy weekends.
Don't think going on vacation means you have to put your exercise routine on hold. Access to our recently updated fitness center including two new gym quality treadmills, recumbent bikes, and other cardio equipment comes with your stay at Vacations by the Sea. Of course, if you'd rather walk or jog outside, there's nothing like the 18 miles of beach just outside your door to get the heart pumping! Don't feel bad either if you can't do your normal daily distance, running on sand requires runners to exert approximately 1.6 times the energy than would be required to maintain the same speed on solid ground. For walkers, make that 2.1 to 2.7 times the energy.
